Groter Groeien is the only magazine for parents with children with the primary school age. A magazine for mothers – and not forgetting fathers – who have both feet on the ground.

Groter Groeien

Groter Groeien is a magazine for people like you and me. Very ‘ordinary’ and close to the parents.

Groter Groeien is the only magazine for parents with children from the age of 3. A magazine for mothers – and not forgetting fathers – who have both feet on the ground. A magazine for parents who know what it means to have children and who are chiefly interested in information that is useful to them. For when children are growing up and things are looking less rose-coloured, parents tend to become very practical. They are careful with time and money. That is why they like to read primarily about useful and practical things and matters they can identify with. About childrearing, development and education, tips for outings with the family, nice and easy meal suggestions, information on TV programmes, attractive offers. All this we give in Groter Groeien.

A mature magazine on childrearing
In 2009 we will be 25. And today - that is clearly visible - Groter Groeien is a really mature magazine on childrearing! .That is why, even more than we used to, we pay attention to matters that are important for parents with growing children. To education in all its aspects, contemporary subjects like how to teach norms and values, how to deal with violence in society and don’t we overtax our children? We cover the entire target group: from toddlers to near-adolescents!

… with many leads
First and foremost Groter Groeien is a magazine ‘from parents, for parents’. Quite an ordinary magazine for and about people like you and me. People that have different backgrounds, come from various social classes. Though ordinary and close to the parents, we are always professional and reliable. Each issue has at least one or two really journalistic articles: no nonsense, as may be expected from Groter Groeien.

The input, questions, letters and other mail from parents serve as a guide. Parents have a great say. Via the magazine readers discuss the most diverse subjects. For example: children’s nutrition, how to make a child toilet-trained, how to handle an intractable toddler or to put a stop to the use of dirty words, the latest trends in children’s fashion, swimming lessons, from baby room to children’s room, toys and (computer) games, holiday destinations that are not too far, expensive or exclusive, but fun. It is obvious: Groter Groeien offers the advertiser quite a lot of opportunities.
