Libelle is a strong multimedia brand and has a good relationship with its readers. Each week Libelle receives more than 500 telephone calls, 250 letters and 300 e-mails and responses to actions. Besides, Libelle has a great practical value. Recipes are tried out and vouchers are sent in and used. Offers in Libelle have the highest response compared to other magazines. Libelle has a strong online community with a focus on nice, everyday matters. A three-dimensional element of the brand is Libelle Summerweek: the biggest outside event for women attracting more than 80.000 visitors. The Libelle specials go more deeply into important subjects for women, like house and home, the balance between work and private life and travel. Libelle also introduces innovations. Examples are the launch of the website Libelle.nl (1996), of web-TV and Radio Libelle (2002) and of the cross media initiative Casa Libelle: a real-life soap about running a bed & breakfast in Barcelona (2005) and from February 2009 the digital thriller soap Deadline on libelle.nl

Libelle.nl has been around since 1997, a community founded by women for women that has grown bigger ever since. The women are actively involved in creating the website through the forum (over 1,000 messages per day) and blogs, among other things.

There is something new every day on Libelle.nl: interesting articles and video clips on fashion, beauty, books, holidays, days/nights out and recipes. There are also special offers and lots of fun mail & win campaigns and, of course, the popular games platform, with a monthly puzzle. A recent poll revealed that as much as 79% of visitors were satisfied to very satisfied about the site. And, indeed, Libelle.nl has very loyal visitors: 70% are regular visitors. Visitors also like to keep up on everything the site has to offer by receiving the various newsletters. The general weekly newsletter has a circulation of 150,000 subscribers, and visitors can also subscribe to the Recipes, Test panel, Book club and Manon’s diary newsletters.

Libelle Academy
Libelle puts on courses and workshops through its Libelle Academy. These are offered at adult education centres throughout the Netherlands at various times each month. The classroom locations are specially reserved by Libelle and designed to make it feel as if you are walking into Libelle. There are also options for online learning, where you can follow courses at your own pace.
