Men take Panorama: the slogan of the magazine says it all. Panorama is the only Dutch magazine that aims at men sans gêne. This appears from the choice of subjects based on the editorial mainstays: news photography, crime, women and football. Also the tone of voice shows a primarily masculine attitude: hard journalism in an informal tone of voice, and never without a touch of men’s humour. The best proof of Panorama’s approach, however, is the large readership. Panorama, more than any other magazine, has been able to captivate a mass of Dutch men for years.
